01 Student Kanika, class X (category U/17-55 Kg. Girls) got 3rd Position in CBSE National Taekwondo Championship- 2023 organised by CBSE held at Gagan Public School, Greater Noida from 23rd – 26th Nov, 2023.

 

 02 students Avni Singhal & Apurva Gaurav of class X (Senior Category) participated G.K.  competition organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad in state level competition held on 26th  Nov’23 at Rishihood University, Sonepat.

 

Celebration of Constitution Day

The constitution day was celebrated in the school on the above mentioned day in the morning assembly. Two students from Class VIII Spoke on the topic highlighting the brief history about the formation of the Indian Constitution & the role of various leaders from the drafting committee in framing the Indian Constitution. All the students from classes III - X along with their respective class teachers were present in the morning assembly. The assembly was concluded with the National Song & National Anthem.

 

 

As part of the Fit India Week 2023, Annual Sports was conducted for the students from pre-primary to senior-secondary wing in the third week of November 2023. Various athletic events were organised for the students. The students enthusiastically participated in their chosen events. The winners were given medals and certificates.     


 

 Bharat Vikas Parishad conducted a G.K. competition for the Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) and for Senior Level (Class IX to XII) at District level on 20th Nov. 2023  in which 02 students (from senior level) were selected for State Level. 

03 students from class X participated in CBSE Heritage Quiz 2023 organised by CBSE on online mode on school held at our school on 17th Nov’23.

 

03 Students, Muskan Prajapati & Rashi Singh, Class XIII and Manini Raj Singh,  Class XI participated in Zonal Level Science Quiz was organized by Haryana Education Deptt. Panchkula held at M D N Public School, Rohtak on 7th Nov, 2023.

Our school students Parimoksha & Soumya Khatri, class X participated in State Level Intach Heritage Quiz organized by INTACH  held at GMN School, Jagadhri  Road, Ambala Cantt.. on 6th  Nov’23.

 

05 students from our school participated in Inter DPS Athletic Meet for Girls open 2023 organised by HRDC, DPSS held at DPS Aligarh on 3rd & 4th Nov’23.

 

02 Students (U/14 Category) Hardik Sharma, Class VIII & Kaustav, class VII participated in State Level Cricket Tournament was organized by School Games Federation of India (SGFI) held at Mahendergarh from 2nd - 4th Nov, 2023.

 

All Science & EVS Teachers as well as students from III to XII were asked to participated in Chandrayan-3 Maha Quiz under Mygov.portal.  Science/EVS Teachers encouraged students to activity participate in the quiz.  Ten questions were supposed to be completed in 5 Minutes in this quiz.  Questions were based on understanding about ISRO’s recent project and related scientists.  After completing quiz, e-certificates were awarded to participants.

Celebration of  Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

An assembly on the occasion Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was conducted by the school on 31st October 2023 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India. .The students from classes VI – X participated in the assembly. The assembly began with the pledge taking ceremony in which the students and the teachers took pledge to protect the unity and sovereignty of the country. A speech was delivered by a student  highlighting the contribution of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel in unifying our country.

After the assembly a ‘Unity Run’ was organized for the students from classes VI - X in which approximately 500 students participated with full enthusiasm and spirit.

    

 

Our school Girls team (U/14 & U/17 category) participated in CBSE Zone II Taekwondo Championship held at Patiala from 27th to 31st Oct’23.  01 Student, Kanika, class X (U/17 category) was selected for National Level. The championship was held by CBSE for around its 200 North Zone schools of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

 

Our school students for classes IX & XI (Online activities) participated in IT Quiz, Reel Making Competition & Capstone Innovation Challenge in Inter DPS IT Festival 2023 organised by DPS society held at DPS Noida on 30th Oct’23.

 

01 student (U/17 category) from our school participated in State Level Cricket Tournament for boys organised by School Games Federation of India (SGFI) held at Rohtak  from 26th to 28th Oct’23.

 

05 students from classes IX to XI (Open category) participated in the Inter DPS National Athletic Meet for Boys (Open) organised by DPS Society at DPS Meerut on 27th – 28th  Oct’23.

 

16 students from classes VIII to XI participated in the Inter DPS Football Tournament for boys (Open) organised by DPS Society at DPS R K Puram from 19th to 21st Oct’23.

 

A Fun with Drawing Activity was organised on 20th Oct., 23 for class II.  Children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.  They portraited colourful festival scenes and exhibited their creativity with vibrant colours.

 

02 students (U/14), 09 students (U/17) and 01 student (U/19) from our school participated in State Level Football Tournament organised by School Games Federation of India (SGFI) held at Ambala from 17th to 19th Oct’23.

 

The school has been ranked No. # 1 Co-ed Day School of Panipat as per the Education  World India School Rankings 2023-24,  this distinguished ranking has been given to the school on the parameters like- Academic Reputation, Faculty Competence, Leadership Quality, Sports Education etc.  In a glittering award function held on 14th October’23  at Delhi, the school was conferred the illustrious award of No. #1 Co-ed Day school of Panipat.  This prestigious award has been given to the school for the consecutive FIVE years since 2018-19.

The school organised an assembly on 12th October 2023 to felicitate the students for their achievements in academic and co-curricular activities. The awards, trophies and certificates were conferred upon the well deserving students.

Ms. Deepika Sharma, Art Teacher attended an Art Education Meet periodically organised by Camlin Kokuyo Limited in IBL College, Panipat on 9th Oct,23.  In this workshop they gave information on regarding all subjects required in and about a vast products range, which included new products as well as.  Also told about the usage of all products with different techniques.

 

An Inter House Dramatisation Competition was held on 6th October 2023 for classes III - V.  The students of classes III and IV presented a dramatized version of a short poem. The students of class V staged a story spoken by a narrator and enacted by four other participants of the same house. The elaborate use of props and melody of background music resulted into phenomenal presentation and stories coming to life.

       * Vindhyachal House bagged 1st position for class III.

       *Aravalli House bagged 1st position for class IV.

       *Nilgiri House bagged 1st position for for class V.

           

 

03 Students, (Rohan Thomas Joyce, Archit Arora and Vatsal Jain of class X) participated on computer based test on 2nd level in Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge-2023 organised by CBSE held on 3rd Oct’23. The result is still awaited.

 

Students of our school participated in the Cleanliness Drive organised by Panipat Refinery on 01/10/2023 as a part of Swachch Bharat Abhiyan, a shared responsibility of all the citizens. This year the drive was organised nation wide on 1st October as a prelude to Mahatma Gandhi's birthday which falls on 2nd October.

   

 

Financial Literacy and Use of Digital Tools A seminar on Financial Literacy and Use of Digital Tools was organized for the teachers of the school and the neighbouring schools by CBSE on 29 September 2023 at DPS Panipat Refinery. The resource person was Mr. Amit Gupta, Company Secretary. The programme commenced with a brief introduction, whereby the teachers were briefed about the importance of financial literacy. The resource person further asked the teachers about their saving and investment preferences. The session was divided into two sectors of investment, the banking sector and the financial market. Under the banking sector, pros and cons of investing in Insurance Policies, FDs, RDs and PFs were discussed. Also the resource person gave some useful tips to go through policy documents before signing any policy. Under financial market, he discussed about primary market i.e. IPOs, FPOs, Right issues, Bonus issues etc. and explained the terms thoroughly. He also explained the secondary market i.e.Debentures etc. he elaborated the uses of investing in different categories while being alert from frauds. Throughout, it was a very interactive session and teachers were encouraged to ask their doubts and queries. All in all, it was a very informative and useful session. The programme culminated with question and answer session followed by vote of thanks.
